PowerSun® self-ballasted mercury vapor bulbs provide an all-in-one solution by delivering both heat and beneficial UVA/UVB radiation from a single, easy-to-install bulb. Available in 80-, 100-, and 160-watt models, these bulbs fit standard incandescent sockets, although a ceramic socket fixture is strongly recommended due to the high operating temperatures.

PowerSun bulbs may be placed directly on top of a screened enclosure or suspended above an open-top habitat using a compatible lamp stand, such as the Zoo Med Lamp Stand.

Ideal for desert-dwelling reptiles, including chuckwallas bearded dragons, uromastyx, and many species of tortoises, PowerSun bulbs help promote proper calcium metabolism, healthy bone development, and normal reptile behavior.
